Uber's proxy statement of March 23, 2026 carried four items of business, all of them management's, and the 8-K reporting the May 4, 2026 annual meeting lists the same four, so the proposal was off the ballot before the proxy was printed. Which way it left the ballot, withdrawn after an agreement or excluded, is not established by any source reviewed.
we found no documented change to Uber's passenger safety reporting attributable to this proposal. In January 2026 Uber said it would continue to engage with the comptroller's office on the proposal ahead of the annual meeting, and the proposal did not appear on the ballot; no source reviewed says what was agreed, if anything.
